Your sponsorship will make you a partner in the learning and the zechus of the tremendous chessed done and be part of the Refuoh for my dear nephew (who I just spend a Shabbos with at The Christie Hospital, Manchester). A Boy who has an immense love of Torah. In his short 3 years so far in Yeshiva (college) Avrumi has already merited to have made his own Siyumim (completed sections of the Talmud), aside from always beating me at Tennis he is a true gem of a boy with the most wonderful future ahead. The most painful part of spending time with Avrumi was to hear and feel his dire wish to be able to sit and learn again. Such love for Torah at this young and tender age, we need to do all we can to allow this back to him at the soonest. With your help I plan to be part of this year’s big learning event and to learn 10 blat with my chavrusoh on Sunday the 10th of September, יום א' ניצבים-וילך יט אלול ה'תשע"ז, completing the learning of the entire Shas in 1 day, united under 1 roof, once again in aid of the wonderful organisation "A TIME".

Together with my fellow learners, scholars and laymen alike, we will achieve the pinnacle of a Siyum HaShas in one place on one day.

For those unfamiliar with the superlative efforts of "A TIME", the organisation provides medical, financial, emotional and halachic support, to couples navigating the unpleasant byroads of infertility. With sensitivity and respect, they accompany many such pairs over the hurdles on their path, aiding and praying with them for positive outcomes. Our efforts at the Shas-a-thon is to help A TIME’s goals on the spiritual and financial fronts.

The kedusha and the achdus in such an undertaking are palpable and powerful. As a supporter, the bracha that resonates will be yours as much as mine.

Wishing you and your family a כתיבת וחתימה טובה, this year we should all only merit to hear and be part of Simchas and happy occasions.

Let this be the last year of all suffering.
